NGK positions C17510 Beryllium Copper for power-terminal components in electrical infrastructure. C17510, or CuNi2Be / Berylco 14, is positioned as a high-conductivity beryllium copper alloy with strong formability. NGK says its B14 S temper combines excellent conductivity with high strength and can be supplied mill-hardened so stamped parts do not need extra heat treatment after forming. High conductivity helps current carrying, while strength keeps the part mechanically credible. For manufacturers, that means better reliability in service and fewer compromises during forming, machining or assembly.
