C17510, or CuNi2Be / Berylco 14, is positioned as a high-conductivity beryllium copper alloy with strong formability. NGK says its B14 S temper combines excellent conductivity with high strength and can be supplied mill-hardened so stamped parts do not need extra heat treatment after forming. The alloy’s selling point is its balance of conductivity, strength and formability in practical service. In short, it is aimed at components that must keep doing their job after heat, wear, vibration or repeated cycling have had their say.
