C17510 Beryllium Copper for Conductive Contact Springs in General Electromechanical Equipment
NGK positions C17510 Beryllium Copper for conductive contact springs in general electromechanical equipment. C17510, or CuNi2Be / Berylco 14, is positioned as a high-conductivity beryllium copper alloy with strong formability. NGK says its B14 S temper combines excellent conductivity with high strength and can be supplied mill-hardened so stamped parts do not need extra heat treatment after forming. C17510 gives engineers a conductivity-first beryllium copper option instead of always reaching for the highest-strength grade. That combination is exactly why these products appear in demanding designs instead of being left to cheaper alloys that would tap out early.
