NGK’s C-Block chill vent is a beryllium copper solution for high-pressure die casting. The page says it cools five times faster than steel, improves venting, reduces rejects and mould wear, and supports more compact and cost-effective die design. NGK says the design eliminates aluminium and vent chemical reactions while improving casting consistency. For manufacturers, that means better reliability in service and fewer compromises during forming, machining or assembly.
