It is possible to utilise the data analysis tool to measure both the coating and the material thickness. In the topographical representation of pile face material thickness, all locations below the essential minimum level are highlighted. Gradual fading of the grey substance indicates thinning of the material. Materials that are too thin (as determined by the client) will be highlighted in red, with a deeper shade of the colour denoting thinner material thickness. A solid block of brilliant red indicates that the material wall has been penetrated to its entire extent.
