To test pipes for flaws and other abnormalities using guided waves, the Wavemaker Pipe Screening System sends ultrasonic guided waves down the length of the pipe. While the lines are still running, this non-invasive inspection approach allows for the inspection of a wide spectrum of lines. There is very little preparation necessary for the line. Up to 100m of line may be examined in a single test with a range of up to 50m in either direction. It is possible to use the GWT technique on a range of pipe diameters, from 3/4" to 84".
