Guided Wave NDT Global Services is an expert in Guided Wave Testing (GWT). Our Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 engineers have vast expertise providing speedy data analysis in a variety of environmental conditions across the world. The Wavemaker Pipe Screening System use ultrasonic guided waves that are transmitted down the length of the pipe to non-destructively test pipes for flaws and other abnormalities by detecting changes in the pipe's cross-sections. It is a non-invasive inspection approach that allows for the inspection of a wide variety of lines while they are still working. The line requires little preparation. The test can cover a distance of up to 50m in each direction from the test point, and up to 100m of the line can be inspected in a single test. The GWT technique can test pipes ranging in size from 3/4" to 84". API examination of in-service metallic pipe systems is a service that may be added to any NDT Global Services inspection project.
