Mitsubishi Electric’s Visual Information Systems division, a world leader in the design and manufacture of high quality, presentation and display products has introduced two new versatile 3-LCD projectors, that have been designed to make a large screen impact within corporate and education applications the XL1550U and XL2550U. The XL1550U is an affordable ultra quiet 22dBA, fully featured option that benefits from 3100 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 5000 hour lamp life. The XL2550U produces 4000 ANSI lumens of brightness and utilises a newly developed BrightEra™ LCD panel that improves light resistance. Although light enough to be a portable solution, both models have been designed with installation in mind; a range of optional lenses are available ensuring they are suitable for an array of large venues such as conference centres and assembly halls. In addition a side loading lamp eliminates the need to move the projector from its installed position should the lamp need replacing. Colour reproduction is optimised with Mitsubishi’s sRGB technology which has been developed to ensure uniformity of colour and increased clarity. A versatile range of inputs including DVI-D also ensures that a true digital connection is available from both PC and video sources. Both models also come with an anti theft security hook that help to reduce unauthorised removal or theft. Remote management and diagnostics of both these projectors can be achieved via a RJ45 LAN connection.
