Castle Opticians in Essex

Stephen Castle approached us with a new space to design and refurbish. He gave us a small initial brief and asked us to develop different contemporary, professional design layouts that included displays, decoration, furniture and flooring. We came up with a clean and bright design based around a small colour palette: white and maroon. These colours contrasted beautifully with the display units and the walnut flooring, giving a welcoming environment for his patients. We achieved this by combining modern displays, carefully selected from our catalogue range with bespoke cabinetry designed in house. Clever detailing in the materials and finishes give a sense of quality throughout. All of the cabinetry including the reception desk, record card drawers dispensing desks and glass cabinet were bespoke, designed to the clients brief with specific allocated spaces to suite all their needs. We also created unique display panels for children’s frames, which were customised with the vinyl stickers of their sold brands. The overall result was a practical and inviting space that reflected quality, professionalism and a fluent atmosphere. Duration on site: 10 days
