MDM have introduced a new K3 range of strainers.

These are cheaper than the K2 range and are fitted with 'tri-clamp' clamp rings and the cartridge welded to the lid. These strainers can be fitted with stainless steel wedge wire, woven wire mesh, sintered mesh or perforated sheet cartridges. We have been supplying strainers with sintered mesh cartridges since October 2010 . They consist of a fine square weave mesh and a support layer of square weave mesh, which has been sintered (fused together) using heat and pressure to form a 2 layer laminate. This provides a minimum pressure drop together with excellent backflush performance. Customers who like the strength of the wedge wire cartridge, but dislike the slot design, have found the sintered mesh to be a good solution.
