Auto-Zero Self-Validating System

A modular, scalable moisture measuring system designed to provide scalable functionality as and when needed, to deal with the impact of gas contaminants, without loss of investment or plant modifications - a truly cost effective system approach. All of MCM's ATEX certified systems are based upon the Microview Compact transmitter Hygrometer, a powerful device capable of providing sophisticated control functionality in order to periodically and automatically validate and, if necessary, correct data following the impact of gas contaminants. The technology is designed to be scalable so that further functionality can be included only when it is required. By purchasing a software upgrade the unit is enabled to control all necessary functions from the hazardous area without the need for external communications. The system will automatically and periodically lock out the signal whilst in validation mode, then switch valves from sample to reference gas, monitor and adjust any values if necessary, before releasing the clamped signal and returning a corrected value back to process. This is all done periodically and automatically, without any external intervention, to ensure a reliable result, even in the presence of contaminants. Applications include; Petrochemical, Process and Air separation plants where high moisture can lead to blockage, corrossion, plant shut down or explosion. Such systems are well established in fiscal metering, custody transfer, post glycol dryers and recycle gas applications.
