MCM are presenting a new range of portable and online moisture in gas analysers at ACHEMA which are ATEX certified and rated EEX ia IIC T4. The new technology is now unrivalled for fast speed of response and its low drift characteristics. The portable ATEX version, the Microview, incorporates a 100 measurement data log, temperature controlled silicon sensor for stability and a unique sensor drying feature for rapid recovery from wet exposure which eliminates hysteresis uncertainties and dramatically aids productivity. Typical response times from wet to dry are less than 2 minutes to stable readings with 95% confidence. The all new, membrane front panel with digital display, has eliminated mechanical switches and meter movements, further increasing IP ratings making and ensuring greater reliability than the previous generation. The online version was successfully PES assessed to SIL level 1 demonstrating its superior reliability and suitability for use in demanding environments such as Nuclear installations, off shore rigs, terminals and refineries.
