Mezz Goods Lift

Goods Lift, with maximum working load 250kg, fully enclosed in a self-supporting mesh shaft. The platform will be 1000mm x 700mm and guarded two sides to suit the loading direction, the platform will back 800mm high from floor height at both levels to assist loading by hand. At the entrance to the lift at the lower level there will be a 2000mm clear height gates while at the upper level there will be an 800mm high fixed frame with a slam shut gate above this. The gates will be interlocked with a monitored electric strike to prevent the gates from being opened unless the platform is docked at the appropriate level. A 20 amp, 240 volt, single-phase supply is required terminated in a double pole switch at the lower level. Control is via push to run controls station adjacent to the gates at both levels. Lift was originally supplied with standard interlocks and then upgraded The new control panels will be fitted with the safety relay, PILZ PNOZ X3, as requested by the customer, which will have a manual reset at both levels which will need to be engaged by the operator to restart the lift once the gates have been opened. The box will be wired so that the power pack motor will not start if any of the gates are open. The safety switches Schmersal AZ16-12zIB1 will be fitted to each gate; this will be alongside the existing electric strike locks. The existing solenoid on the power pack will need to be changed to 24v to suit the new safety switches.
