Enormous Interest in MAHA Products in South Africa MAHA South Africa delivered and installed 40 inground lifts for Porsche, Johannesburg, The picture here shows how impressive such a large installation can be. The open hall area around the lifts is typical for inground lift installation. The majority of this 40 lifts have been installed in the main workshop. Additional ones can be found in the area of chassis, reception view, customer service, practice, training , and cleaning. This center in Johannesburg represents Porsche’s largest dealership in the world. Based on comments from the managing director of LSM Distributors (Pty) Ltd. (authorized importer for Porsche vehicles in South Africa), Mr. Toby Venter, over 110 Mio. Rand (ca. 14 Mio. US $) was invested in the building of this new Porsche center. He says that this investment is proof of the strong commitment of the group and trust it places in the Porsche brand in South Africa. Another contract has been awarded to MAHA South Africa to supply the new Porsche centers in Durban and Cape Town with an additional 34 lifts. MAHA has also been successful with truck workshops of MAN, SCANIA and VOLVO in all of South Africa. Here numerous MAHA IW 7 Eurosystem brake testers were installed. Like in so many countries of the world, South Africa wants to improve driving safety by introducing vehicle inspection programs. This will increase the demand for all kinds of testing equipment. This makes it understandable that MAHA South Africa wants to exhibit some of MAHA’s newest innovations at the South African Automechanika in March 2009.
