Regional Sales Engineer (North and Northwest Germany) 

The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity for a technical sales person to join our German team at the world’s leading brand of steelwork connections. This important role provides Engineers, contractors and distributors with technical support to ensure they continue to receive the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for providing technical advice to engineering and construction companies in the defined sales region
• Advising customers, designers and architects
• Acquiring new customers and maintaining and expanding existing business relationships
• Conducting trainings and product presentations in order to clarify the advantages of the technology compared to conventional methods such as welding and bolting.
• Development and implementation of sales strategies in the region.
• Work with our distributor’s Sales, Marketing and Management teams
• Continuous business analysis of customers and competitors.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical or civil engineering, or similar technical education.
• Relevant experience in technical sales, preferably in the construction industry or in the construction sector.
• High level of initiative, enjoyment of sales and entrepreneurial thinking/action.
• Customer-oriented appearance and strong communication and negotiating skills.
• Fluent in German and very good English.
