Lindapter Clamps Provided a Quick Installation

Lindapter fixings were specified for the £862,000,000 Comcast Innovation and Technology Center, which is adjacent to the Comcast head office in Center City Philadelphia. The 60 story tower is the tallest building in the city, which includes Comcast offices, a luxury hotel and an events space. Lindapter’s Type AAF Girder Clamps were used to attach raker beams to sloped beams in order to form the seating supports in the auditorium. The Type AAF clamp was chosen due to its high strength capacity in tensile, slip and combined load applications. Another benefit was the lateral adjustability of the clamps which allowed the contractors to quickly slide and align the steel sections into position, before tightening the clamps with standard hand tools to complete the installation.
