Hollo-Bolt was Used to Secure Balcony Extensions

Hollo-Bolt was selected for use in securing balcony extensions in Dresden.

Hollo-Bolt by Lindapter was specified because of its high strength capacity and its range of independent product approvals such as the CE Mark. The apartment building refurbishment consisted of balcony extensions to enlarge living rooms areas and new windows and doors to take further advantage of the natural daylight.

The contractor used over 600 Hollo-Bolts to secure pre-drilled hollow steel sections to create the structural framework for the balcony extensions. The Hollo-Bolt enabled a efficient installation on site at the project site using just standard hand tools, which saved time and labour costs, while minimising distruption to the residential area.

With over 80 years? experience in developing new approaches to connections between steel members, Lindapter prides itself on having a broad selection of product approvals, outstanding engineering guidance and support and a across international markets distributor network
