80 years pioneering steelwork connections

Lindapter celebrates 80 years developing new approaches to the design and manufacture of steelwork connection solutions and remains committed to follow the legacy set by founder Henry Lindsay to produce the exceptional quality steelwork fixings and customer experience.

Lindapter specialises in innovative clamping systems that eliminate the requirement to drill or weld steelwork, enabling rapid steel construction and low labour costs. The vast product portfolio has diversified from the original 1934 invention of the malleable iron hook-bolt adapter, or ?Lindsay Adaptor? and the combination of the two words explains the formation of the now famous brand name.

A policy of continuous investment in Research & Development has allowed Lindapter to remain dynamic and adapt to new markets through product extension, while increasing independent recognition through accreditations such as CE Mark and ICC-ES. Today the vast array of products includes a range of Girder Clamps, Hollo-Bolts, decking/support fixings, steel floor fixings and bespoke product development.

Utilising the experience gained over eight decades, Lindapter has the knowledge and expertise to offer an unrivalled engineering guidance and support service, including free design and customised connection solutions. Lindapter's philosophy remains unchanged since the business's inception in 1934 and is dedicated to deliver the exceptional quality throughout each phase of the service, from the initial connection design to installation guidance.

The anniversary also marks the launch of the Type AAF, a new adjustable High Slip Resistance clamp that offers adjustability, anti-corrosion protection and high load capacities, even in low temperature environments.
