The SlabProfiler is a laser measurement unit developed for in-line width and edge profile measurement of slabs in continuous casting plants. The SlabProfiler uses 2 LIMAB ProfiCura-2D laser profile sensors that capture the whole edge profile at a rate of 240 Hz.
