Load Pins for Aerospace Application

We have manufactured 36 of these load pins for an aerospace application where they will be fitted in a clevis arrangement to simultaneously measure forces in real time.

Due to the operating environment they needed to be suitable for use in a Zone 1 hazardous area so were supplied with ATEX and IECEx Ex d (explosion proof) certification, as well as special cable gland protection to mitigate against any damage from the particularly arduous conditions. With load ratings between 5.5 tonnes and 8 tonnes, the load measuring pins simply replace the conventional clevis pin to provide precise load monitoring without the need to redesign the surrounding assembly.
