Laser Trader Limited has recently been appointed as the Exclusive Distributor and Representative for the UK and Ireland of K-Lab International. K-Lab is the global technology leader for scan head laser welding systems. K-Lab’s innovative welding systems allow precise, highly repeatable welds for the most complex applications, at laser powers of up to 5kW. K-Lab’s unique K-Draw software allows revolutionary part repositioning functionality through an intuitive user interface, cutting set-up times from hours to minutes. By removing the need for time consuming robot teaching, consumer productivity and profitability can be dramatically increased. The Scout system has seen great success in the emerging areas of battery welding, with both Samsung and LG in Korea strong adopters of the technology.
