Another Successful CMC Meeting!

News From the Managing Director From March 18th until March 20th the subsidiary Managers from all over the world met recently in Osnabruck North West Germany, for the yearly Country Managers Council (CMC). These meetings are the ideal platform in which global strategies are discussed. The new “Think Tank”, where new products and material advancement were high on the agenda. As usual there were discussions on many different areas of business including product development as well as possible new markets KTR could explore. In the meetings, strong discussions took place on how KTR could research and work with couplings that were more than 10 tonnes in weight. Many organisations do not realise the vast range of product sizes KTR manufacture. In order to get this message out to potential customers discussions took place with the new social media manager and marketing to plan KTR’s next strategy. It was not all work and no play as there were a few team building activities along with some excellent dinners and a few drinks within the group in order to catch up on the year. On his return, Managing Director, Geoff Ancliff had this to say, “It was great to see everyone again and to discuss business and benchmarking ourselves in order to stay the market leading coupling manufacturer. It is always a special time when we can all come together and work as one in a single location. We get to hear how different strategies worked for different subsidiaries and what did not work. We have an excellent team throughout the world in KTR and look forward to how all the new products and discussions will help us to build our business.”
