KLC offer a wide range of wall coverings from polished plaster effects through to digital photography. Wall coverings are a great way to add instant style and design to an areas without the need for painting walls with wild colours. Reception branding walls regularly see designer wall coverings as do breakout areas and coffee points. It's not just for design purposes that we use wall coverings, there are a huge range of commercial vinyl backed wall coverings which are normally twice as thick as the paperbacks and much more durable as they won't rip or tear, ideal for high wear areas. We also offer a specials service where our manufacturers can produce specials that may not be available on the market. This can be useful if you need to match up to a discontinued wall covering and you need continuity. Don't forget we also offer digital wall coverings where we can cover full height walls with high quality digital photography. Polished plaster is becoming increasingly popular, with groundbreaking techniques enabling corporate identities to imagery along with a huge variety pattern to be polished or etched within the plaster. Polished plaster walls have a practical element too, as the plaster is solid colour through to the core, so if the unthinkable digs or gouges do happen they won't stand out and can be easily repaired. Banding is created by superimposing one finish upon another, using identical or contrasting finishes, or the carefully controlled application of a Colourwash. Blockwork creates the ultimate in faux stone effects, but without the weight or thickness of natural stone. The texture and tone can be varied from block to block, reflecting the natural variations found in stone walls. The Panel technique uses bands and a combination of finishes, and provides an elegant effect, suited to both large and smaller areas, and lending a sense of stature to the room. Circular Columns or Curves give the appearance of polished stone at a fraction of the cost. Even large columns can appear totally seamless, as if cut from a single vast lump of stone.
