I’m a documentary-style Yorkshire wedding photographer and family portrait photographer working primarily throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cumbria, but also venturing further afield to cover portraits and weddings across the UK and abroad. My portrait and wedding photography style is primarily documentary which means natural and unobtrusive. I’m not interested in posing people and I won’t ask for fake grins! I have a very hands-off approach to capturing the unique moments, fun and emotion of your day. I’ll also offer some gentle direction in a very natural way for a few creative, high-impact wedding portraits, incorporating beautiful light, colour and scenery. I’m a Yorkshire wedding photographer that loves the scenery in this area and will happily incorporate rugged sweeping moorlands and dramatic Yorkshire views into my portrait and wedding photography. As a Yorkshire wedding photographer, I travel throughout the North or England, shooting at some of the region’s most celebrated Yorkshire wedding venues, including Ripley Castle, Allerton Castle, Goldsborough Hall, Hazlewood Castle, Bowcliffe Hall, The Mansion, East Riddlesden Hall, Wharfedale Grange and The Tithe Barn. I’m also very experienced as a York, Harrogate, Sheffield and Leeds wedding photographer. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a very wide range of weddings including castle weddings, church weddings, barn weddings, countryside weddings, city weddings, along with tepee and yurt weddings.
