July 2016. We recently ran a competition in conjunction with Portsmouth Football Club, with whom we are 'Official Partners', In a recent digital newsletter sent out to the club's huge database, we asked readers to let us know the month and year that Portsmouth Football Club became wholly owned by its fans. The first 10 to identify correctly that this was April 2013 were: Peter Hammond, Chris Percival, Keith Stewart, Keith Bingham, Ben Tew, Katie Thackray, Henry Biddlecombe, Bob Gale, Isabelle Savin de Larclause and Chris Whittle. All 10 won an A3 sized acrylic wall print of the iconic 'Ours' picture which was publicised when the club first became owned by the consortium of fans. Some of the lucky winners joined us at Key2 Group head office on one of the hottest days of the year so far to have their prizes presented by Pompey legend, and club ambassador, former goalkeeper Alan Knight. Well done to all and a big thank you to Alan for his support.
