In order to provide access control and integrated security systems to customers with Enterprise Class requirements, Keri Systems (San Jose, CA) has acquired Digital Horizon Solutions (DHS) of Dallas, TX. The companies will remain separate, with DHS operating from its Dallas headquarters as a wholly owned subsidiary of Keri Systems, but taking advantage of the strong infrastructure that Keri has developed in its 16 year history. The deal was completed on August 4, 2006. DHS’ flagship product, the Eclipse 700 software, with its sophisticated feature set and flexible programming, is based on the proven and popular, non-proprietary Mercury Security hardware platform used by many other access control software manufacturers.
