Training

This one week course sets out to enable a complete novice hit the ground running any projected within the product design arena. The course aims to teach fundamental Pro/engineer methodologies, concepts and best practice and is tailored to the individual needs of the company. The course is designed to give the best platform possible for continuous Pro/engineer learning, which gives the student the ability to develop plans that are dynamic to growth and can continue learning through different mediums, such as web based tutorials, supplied documentation and help menus. The course is not a ‘push button’ course, but one designed to make the student think about what and why decisions are made while interacting with the Pro/engineer environment. The course is designed to highlight best practice within Pro/engineer, but also demonstrates other methodologies that may be implemented to meet the same end. Pro/engineer is a vast and complex design implementation software; by making the students understand concepts, methodologies and ways of thinking, the software is deconstructed and actually becomes a straight forward and ‘simple’ software to manipulate. The course uses various analogies to help students visualise why and how they should be using Pro/engineer for different project goals.
