In June JULABO opened its new headquarters of the US subsidiary in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Supported by the Lehigh Valley Area Chamber of Commerce the opening of the new, state-of-the art facility of the JULABO subsidiary in North America was celebrated with many guests. Informative guided tours and lectures provided a comprehensive overview of the individual departments, the innovative product range with their varied applications. Supported by the Lehigh Valley Area Chamber of Commerce the opening of the new, state-of-the art facility of the JULABO subsidiary in North America was celebrated with many guests. Informative guided tours and lectures provided a comprehensive overview of the individual departments, the innovative product range with their varied applications. As a surprise guests were served culinary delicacies prepared in the sous vide method. As the highlight of the event Ralph Juchheim, President of JULABO USA Inc., officially opened the new office with a symbolic red ribbon cutting. The modern building with state-of-the-art technology is optimally organized and houses the production, technical service and quality control departments, inventory, shipping and receiving area, training rooms as well as the entire administration under one roof. The workflow oriented lay-out facilitates streamlined processes in the entire company. In 1993 JULABO USA Inc. was established as JULABO’s first subsidiary abroad and today employs a staff of more than 30 people.
