Fire Rated Column Casings from Jtech Services

Jtech Services have recently supplied over 300 meters of their Fire Rated Column Casing system complete with Column Crowns to a new mezzanine floor project in Milton Keynes. A detailed pre-manufacture measure was undertaken so that installation was straightforward and completed within the time frame required. Waste was also kept to a minimum as specific lengths were supplied for each area so very little, if any, onsite cutting was required. The simple design process called for basic information including the steelwork dimensions, the weight of the steelwork, the height, the finish and what rating was required, 30mins, 60mins or 120mins. The design of the column casings means that they are straightforward to install, often taking no more than about 10 mins, and as they are pre-finished that means that no further work is required other than to peel back the protective layer once the project is ready for handover.
