Design Week Awards 2013

John Anthony Signs were proud to sponsor the environmental and wayfinding category at the 2013 Design Week Awards for the 6th consecutive year. The awards were held at the honourable Artillery Company Gardens in London and were another great success. The winner of our sponsored category was Robert Young of Alphabetical for their work on the Link Trust Thamesmead, which was a newly opened community centre in South London. The judges said, “It plays with extraordinary scale to bring to life a very grey space. It gives hope to people looking at their future and integrates with its surroundings in a positive, humorous way”. Other shortlists includes; Prostate Cancer UK Office Graphics by Hat-trick Design Department of Health and Design Council for reducing violence and aggression in A&E by PearsonLloyd Inside Out Project for Waltham Forest Council by Vic Lee Building relationships with design companies continue to be a major strategy for John Anthony Signs as we consult and develop ideas to turn them into three-dimensional reality.
