We have been involved with the evolution of formal quality management standards since the 1970?s. Jeff Monk was actively involved with the UK government initiative to promote standards and international competitiveness when he headed the supplier auditing department of a major gas utility. He also contributed to the development of BS 5750, a forerunner of ISO 9000.
