The JCE Loss of Pressure Alarm Sounder is a compact, intrinsically safe signalling device designed for use in hazardous environments where reliable audible notification is essential. With a peak output of 100 dB at one metre and a selectable range of 49 tones, it is suitable for use in fire safety, gas detection, process control and general industrial alarm systems.
This device is certified for Zone 0 applications and approved under ATEX, IECEx, GOST-R and FM standards for Class I Division 1 environments. It operates from 16 to 28 VDC via a Zener barrier or galvanic isolator and features reverse current and input overload protection.
The enclosure is flame retardant ABS with IP65 ingress protection and stainless steel fixings. Operating temperature ranges from minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. It includes terminals for 0.5 to 2.5 mm² wiring and dual M20 cable entry knockouts. Volume can be adjusted between 90 and 100 dB and the unit is auto-synchronised across multiple devices for consistent tone output.
Custom tone configurations are available on request to suit specific site standards or user preferences.
