Flue Gas Economisers

Typical boiler high fire exit flue gas temperatures are approximately 250 degrees celsius. This heat can be utilised to pre-heat the feedwater entering the boiler. The hotter the water entering the boiler, the less fuel energy is required to bring the water in the boiler up to operating temperature. Flue gas economisers recover waste heat which is lost to the atmosphere through the chimney. Capturing this heat and reusing it will give more fuel efficiency and reduce your fuel costs to between 4 - 6%. The flue gas economizer will recover lost heat from the boiler exhaust gases and re-use it to pre-heat the boiler feed water.
