J+S Successful at the South West Business Challenge 2010 Awards

On Thursday, 22 October 2010, J+S won their second award of the year in the Business Innovation section of the South West Business Challenge 2010 Awards. These awards are sponsored by Bond Pearce, KPMG, Royal Bank of Scotland and Twofour. Barnstaple based J+S Ltd beat off strong competition in the final for the Business Innovation Award from C3 Resources, who help to control carbon consumption and Naturalwatt, a Solar PV Installer, Wind Turbines and Solar Thermal company. Commenting on the award, Managing Director, David Jeffries, said: “Winning the innovation award is a major success for the company and the engineering team who overcame many significant challenges both electrically and mechanically in bringing the splice housing to market. This we believe is the only fully qualified product in the market today and has the potential to be a world beater.
