Three Five Systems low power Transflective thin film transistor (TFT) display modules are capable of displaying up to 262k colours in both graphics and video modes. These products are intended to meet the growing demand for increased information content with high brightness, high contrast and vivid colour reproduction. With an on-board frame buffer, which eliminates the need for constant updating of the display image over the system bus the displays driver conserve battery power and are well-suited for portable products. The integrated DC/DC converter requires a minimal amount of support components thus providing a very compact and lightweight module for portable products.
