Production Robots

Another of our recent innovations was to manufacture replacement gear toothed friction discs for production robots for a company who was providing a maintenance service for a well known car manufacturer in the U.K. The original friction discs in the servo motor were wearing out and this required replacement of the full servo motor and brake assembly as the discs are not sold separately . By remanufacturing the discs from samples we were able to supply a part which enabled refurbishment instead of replacement of the servo motor resulting in a huge cost saving and reduced ‘down-time’ for the production line.
