IMO C4 circuit breakers are designed to be a compact reliable unit that offers high protection for 3 phase induction motors but can also be used as a motor starter, and for line protection. Integrating the functions of a circuit breaker and thermal overload relay in single unit it significantly reduces the space requirements and wiring necessary for an installation that would have traditionally used a three component starter assembly.

With ratings from 0.16A to 100A in 3 frame sizes the IMO C4 has a short circuit breaking capacity of 100kA (Icu) and incorporates both thermal overload functionality and phase failure protection for phase-to-phase faults thereby offering comprehensive protection of the motor and controlling electrical circuitry.
