Rh Measurement in ATEX Zone 1 with a Duct Mounted probe

The HygroClip ID comes in two configurations for flexibility. It can be used for checking duct air in an ATEX zone 1 area. The probe is mounted directly on the HygroClip sensor enclosure. As with other HygroClip systems, when configured like this, a 4 to 20mA signal can be obtained directly from the monitor. This can be connected to a data acquisition (DAQ) or building management system (BMS) mounted in a safe area via the ZB1-420 zener barrier. The system can be programmed to supply the output in terms of rh or temperature. Alternatively, the sensor can be connected to a HTS transmitter mounted in a safe area, providing a display and user configuration of the two analogue outputs (humidity and temperature), and two digital RS232 and RS485 outputs. Humidity outputs can be shown in rh, dew point or a number of other psychrometric scales.
