Rh Measurement in ATEX Zone 1 by Screw-in Probe

Two configurations for flexibility. The HygroClip IE has a screw in probe for high pressure measurements in an ATEX zone 1 area. The probe is connected via cable to the HygroClip sensor enclosure. Similar to the other HygroClip systems, in this configuration (shown below) a 4 to 20mA signal can be obtained directly from the instrument. This can be connected to a data acquisition (DAQ) or building management system (BMS) mounted in a safe area via the ZB1-420 zener barrier. The system can be pre-configured to supply the output in terms of rh or temperature. ATEX system with ZB1-420: Alternatively, as shown below, the sensor can be connected to a safe area mounted HTS transmitter. This provides a display and user configuration of the two analogue outputs (humidity and temperature), and two digital outputs RS232 and RS484. The humidity output can be configured for rh, dew point or any psychrometric scales.
