Significant steps have been taken to improve oil in water measurements. Systems from Advanced Sensors have been able to operate in the field for many years with zero maintenance, by using automated ultrasonic cleaning. Besides monitoring oil in water from low ppb to 20,000 ppm, the EX100P2-1000P2 can automatically determine the type of oil that is being detected. An optional addition of video microscopy allows solids and gas content to be measured, and reported in terms of particle size and total volume.
