Gas and liquid analysis with on-line mass spectrometry

A mass spectrometer for the masses. The TM-1000 combines mass spectrometry and laser induced fluorescence techniques. Both probes for the mass spectrometer and the laser induced fluorescence are kept clean with the Advanced Sensors ultrasonic cleaning technique. This system is the first process mass spectrometer aimed at providing low level measurements of light hydrocarbons and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The Windows-based software provides an intuitive user interface allowing the user to view spectra from the mass spectrometer and from the laser induced fluorescence system, giving a unique insight into contamination of process water streams.
