BEN MY CHREE

The Ben-My-Chree is a conventional 124.9m RO/PAX vessel built by Van-der-Giesen de Noord in Holland The vessel was specially designed for operation by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company to take 500 passengers between the ports of Heysham and Douglas. Houlder’s Marine sector was involved in initial design discussions with the shipyards, tendering processes, selection of shipyard, plan approval, supervision on-site. The company continues to provide technical support services now that the vessel is in operation.
