Houlder takes fourth place in the Sunday Times HSBC FastTrack International 200 list. “Houlder’s heritage in North Sea engineering, vessel design and project delivery is paying off globally” commented Rupert Hare, Houlder Chief Executive Officer, “We are incredibly proud to be placed so highly in the International Track rankings and excited about the future. This looks set to continue as our plans for growth develop.” A clear statement of international intent was made in 2014 with the opening of a Houlder Americas office in Houston, Texas. Houlder is also part way through a multimillion pound project management consultancy project for Libya’s Mellitah Oil and Gas BV and Houlder’s marine equipment business is aiming to sell offshore windfarm installation equipment across Europe. These examples all point to more international sales to come. Rupert continues: “Houlder Americas is the first of several bases in offshore centres we plan to establish over the next few years. This reflects our belief that the appetite for UK engineering, with its strong North Sea track record, is increasing.
