ECONOMIC IMPROVEMENTS TO THE WOOLWICH FERRY

Feasibility Studies Houlder’s specialist marine design division has provided Feasibility Studies for the Woolwich Ferry service which crosses the Thames every ten minutes carrying traffic from London’s busy North and South Circular routes. The studies explored a range of options for improving the efficiency of the operation's three Ro Ro vessels and their onshore access infrastructure. The exploration will help shape the future of a service that has run for over a century and currently transports a million vehicles a year. To see examples of our other projects click here.
