The QIC series provides the general-purpose laboratory work-horses for continuous analyses where sample size is not a specific limitation, with sample consumption rates down to 1scc/min. The HPR series are biased towards the researcher and to the more specialised applications such as evolved gas, gas reaction and fast event studies, small sample analysis with aliquot sizes to 0.1scc, measurement of flame and atmospheric plasma composition, top-gas and dissolved gas monitoring from and in aqueous solution. The product range evolved from the companies ability and willingness to work with their customers to produce dedicated and specialised interfaces to integrate the mass spectrometer with specific and diverse processes, and custom engineering continues to be a significant element of the company’s activity.
