It is manufactured in an anodised aluminium tube, mirror polished stainless steel end stands, plastic bearings and steering wheels with stainless steel axle crank handles. The locking device enables the tube to lock into position, stopping the cover from unwinding.Supplied with high quality bearings and two steering wheels fitted with crank handles. The Slidelock has been designed to enable you to cover your pool quickly and with minimum effort.It has telescopic tube sections which slide and lock together. The straps are connected to the tubes by a plastic slide and lock fixing which makes the reel system easier and simpler to install and gives a greater rigidity.There is a choice of end stands available for the reel which can be seen in the images above. All of these are available at no extra cost except for a set of castors/wheels which can be purchased as an addition to the roller.Slidelock Telescopic Roller make covering the pool easier and quicker, with the ever increasing energy prices this is an option you cannot afford to be without to ensure you do not loose energy/heat from your pool. Sizing & Models Small Slidelock Reels telescopes from 3.7m to 4.9m, for covers up to a maximum 4.6m width (12′ to 16′ tubes – 15′ maximum cover width) Large Slidelock Reels telescopes from 5m to 6.7m, for covers over 4.6m up to a maximum 6.4m width (16’5″ to 22′ tubes – 21′ maximum cover width) Notes: Reels should be set up to have a maximum 300mm overlap each side. Maximum recommended area of material on the reel is 75sqm.Cover/tube overlap should be kept to a minimum. Some flexing of the tube may occur with larger covers. 4. Specifications 5.
