Indux E200 Ventilator Domestic Fresh Air Introduction for Indoor Swimming Pools Through The Wall Fresh Air Heat Recovery Unit 1. Description Indux E200 Ventilator is a through the wall heat recovery ventilator. This units is an energy efficient extract fan that extracts air from the pool hall to the outside, but as it does so, it warms the fresh air coming into the pool hall to provide heat transfer and energy efficiency. A heat exchanger inside the E200 uses heat from the warm air leaving the pool hall to heat the cooler incoming air.  Used for indoor pools, kitchens and utility rooms to meet the Building Regulations. It is designed for installation in external walls having a thickness up to 335mm. For wall thicknesses up to 550mm an extension sleeve kit is available. The unit’s twin impeller and heat exchanger arrangement simultaneously supplies and extracts air while transferring heat from the stale exhaust airflow to the fresh intake airflow. This provides up to 75% heat recovery from the stale extracted air. The power consumption for the unit is 25W trickle speed, 60W normal speed and 140W boost speed. The three speed, external rotor motor has two matched impellers to ensure a controlled airflow through the unit, with exceptionally economical 25Watt low speed power consumption. The unit introduces fresh air into the pool hall to reduce humidity and make the pool hall environment more comfortable. The unit expels moist warm air from the pool hall and brings in drier, cooler air from the outside. This helps to dehumidify the pool hall. The E200 should be used in conjunction with a pool dehumidifier to add fresh air and reduce humidity to provide a comfortable environment in the pool hall. Processing the same air over and over will make the pool hall air feel stuffy and stale, which is why is always a good idea to make provision for fresh air for indoor pools. Features Indux E200 – Self Contained Through The Wall Fresh Air Heat Recovery Ventilator (HR200WK)   Efficiency: The unit will retain up to 75% of the heat, which would otherwise be lost, is transferred to the intake air, ensuring energy saving ventilation. The highly efficient, polymeric heat exchanger cube is washable. Only the neat internal twin grille is visible from the room. The compact cube interleaves outgoing moist warm air with incoming fresh air and allows the heat from one to warm the other without the two air streams mixing. Motor: 220-240V 50Hz A/C. It will operate up to an ambient temperature of 40°C. Controls: The unit can be used on its own or operated via a remote 3 Speed controller. The 3 speed motor, can be wired to operate On/Off for any one of the three speeds. Alternatively, an Ambient Response Humidity Sensor or simple changeover switch can be used to provide switching between any two speeds, giving permanent trickle ventilation and automatic changeover to a higher speed during periods of high moisture generation. Also the 3 speed controller enables the unit to be switched from permanent trickle to either medium or boost speed. Installation: The E200 outer case is a rigid ABS moulding. This unit fits through walls up to 335mm thick requiring a fixing hole 250mm square. A wall extension sleeve is available. Maintenance: Apart from removing odours, providing fresh air and recovering heat, this appliance extracts airborne impurities such as dust, dirt and grease. These gradually build up and detract from the efficiency and appearance of the appliance. Therefore to ensure peak performance, the appliance should be cleaned regularly. Filters should be replaced every six months or as conditions necessitate. Quick release grilles give instant access to the integral washable filters. Optional Extras Speed Controller : An optional speed speed controller is also available. This allows the E200 fan to run at different speeds. Mixed flow fans are speed controllable (on high speed tapping only) using a this 1.5Amp electronic controller.
