990 Signal Processor

The 990 Signal processor for use with any transducer or transmitter. The DIN mounted unit houses a 4 digit LCD Display and 2 buttons for easy calibration. The 990 accepts any input signal in the range 0 to 100millivolts for transducers with the ability to allow for zero offsets, and 0 to 21milliamps for transmitters. The isolated output can also be calibrated within the range 0 – 21mA over any part of the input signal with minimal affect on performance when scaling over very small ranges such as a few millimetres. The output can set up in reverse acting mode for engineers who want to measure ullage or the space above the liquid level. This is very useful in borehole and deep well applications. The display can also be set forward or reverse acting independently of the input or output signals. The simulator function allows the engineer to trip settings and alarms where it becomes a precision current or voltage source. An RS232 option with full software will allow the user to interface with a PC and programme trip points and alarm points as well as use the additional diagnostic features available.
