Acrylic Store Tray

HMTooling supplied tooling to produce a cosmetic storage tray. Quantities and shelf life for this product was short (approximately 8000). Because of this a high grade of aluminium was used for the main Tooling pates. The cavity and core was machined directly into these plates. The surface finish required was a polished finish, this is quick to achieve on aluminium, but must be looked after carefully during production. The part was fed directly by standard sprue onto the bottom face. The Tool was delivered with samples within two weeks of receiving cad data
