Speed Encoders

Hägglunds’ speed encoders give you access to valuable speed feedback. For use with our whole range of motors, they can provide both a general speed indication and highly accurate closed-loop speed control. The compact and durable encoders are available in several versions. These include basic analogue and digital versions for our Marathon and Viking motors, as well as a version with a digital outlet for Compact motors. The latter features a hollow shaft and is mechanically locked on the drive shaft. There is even an ATEX-compliant version for use with Compact motors in explosive environments.
